Jun 27, 2013 · Use your hands and just roll the valve back and forth a couple times. Put blue dykem on the valve contact area or magic marker. Then after you lap them back and forth a couple times check the contact area to make sure it is a shiny ring all the way around. But you should not lap valves that have not had the valve guides play checked.
